Getting a China Visa
VISA AND WORK PERMIT
Hopedin International Education (Pvt.) Ltd will assist in obtaining the appropriate visa and work permits for foreign employees who will be working in Our Corporation. Employment Visa’s and Work
Permits are good for one year and include multiple entries. The entire process takes approximately 3 to 4 weeks.

Need a visa?
If you’re not a Chinese national, you will most likely need to get a Chinese visa. Citizens of Singapore, Brunei, and Japan holding ordinary passports may enter China without a visa. If you are any Other Country passport holder and are planning a trip to the People’s Republic of China, you will require a visa. If you don’t have one you will be refused entry.
What’s a Chinese Visa
A Chinese visa is a permit issued by visa authorities of the People’s Republic of China in accordance with its laws and regulations to a foreign citizen for entry into, exit from or
transit through Chinese territory. The Chinese visa authorities will issue a
diplomatic visa, courtesy visa, service visa or ordinary visa according to the
foreign citizen’s status, the purpose of visit and type of passport.

Chinese embassies, consulates general, Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and in the Macao Special Administrative Region, and other resident organizations abroad authorized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs are responsible for handling visa applications by foreign citizens for entry into and transit through Mainland of China and the Hong Kong or Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR).

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the local foreign affairs offices authorized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs are responsible for the issuance, change, and extension of diplomatic and service visas and for the issuance of a residence permit to holders of this type of visa.

How TO Get In China
The Chinese visa system has undergone some notable changes in recent years and visa regulations can change suddenly and without warning. There is also a degree of inconsistency between consulates and the Public Safety Bureaus (PSB).
Expats are advised to be as thorough as possible with their documentation and, where a minimum requirement is stated, to go over and above that. For instance, it’s a good idea to ensure that passports are valid for more than the six-month minimum required by Chinese authorities, especially for longer stays.
It should be noted that expats applying for a Chinese visa from somewhere other than their country of origin will have to submit additional documents such as work or residence permits.

Non-Commerce Visa ( F-Visa )
F visa had been used as business visa before M visa was introduced. F visa is now changed for a noncommercial visit. F visa is issued to those who intend to go to China for research, scientific, cultural exchange on behalf of a US employer. F visa (for non-trade or non-commerce) is normally issued for single, double entry or multiple entries up to 1 year only. The duration of stay (each visit) is normally 30-90 days.

Family Visa (Q2, Short-term visa )
Issued to those with the intention of visiting their relatives who are Chinese citizens residing in China or foreigners with permanent residence status in China. The intended duration of stay in China is normally granted up to 120 days per visit. Q2 visa is usually issued for multiple-entry. Multiple-entry up to 10 years is only issued to US passport holder.

Private Visa (S1, Long Term Visa )
Issued to those who intend to go to China to live with the immediate family member working or studying in China. The intended duration of stay in China exceeds 180 days. "Immediate family members" refers to spouses, parents, sons or daughters under the age of 18 or parents-in-law. Original proof of kinship is required. S1 visa is issued for single-entry only. Holders of S1 visa shall, within 30 days from the date of entry, register and apply for the residence permit in Public Security Bureau (police station). A residence permit is good for multiple entries.
